Hey there - My name is Katie Lynn Lockridge and I am the owner and lead planner of Major Events Planning. After spending almost 10 years in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) as a Logistics Officer, I figured it was time to make a change of pace in my life and follow my passion – event planning. Throughout my tenure as an Officer in the CAF, I was able to have three tours under my belt, years of time spent away from home and lots of opportunities to plan large scale events, from Officer’s Mess Events to Air Shows to visits from the Prime Minister and Governor General Offices.
I am based out of Napanee, which gives me the opportunity to serve all the local areas including: Quinte West, Hastings and Prince Edward County and Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington Counties.
I absolutely love working with couples to create luxurious, stylish and timeless weddings.

So in early 2019, I decided to pursue my dream and started Major Events Planning. Over the course of my career as a Logistics Officer with the Department of National Defence in Trenton, I have been fortunate enough to have built excellent relationships with vendors and venues in the Bay of Quinte and PEC areas. My carefully curated list of wedding and event professionals means that you will have the area’s best “dream teams” to bring your wedding and event to life.
